Picnicking in upstate New York

We're headed upstate New York toward our next destination.
.....we're taking a different route this year.
In previous years we travel towards Philly, Baltimore and DC towards Strasburg to I-81 connecting to I-40.
This year we're in for something different....

what a beautiful novel setting

So beautiful but probably so poisonous

Beaver kill River
We've planned for a picnic lunch, today, in the beautiful Eastern branch of the Delaware River in the New York Catskill Mountains known as the Beaver Kill River.
(famed as one of the best places to catch trout in the world)

The fish seem to be jumping for joy at the site we chose for lunch.
Bam decided to waded out in the gentle river to a rock he dubbed as Rock Island
He decided to take some time for himself to reflect after lunch.....

"Mom, the water feels great! Come and join me Mommy."

watching and petting the fish swimming by........

Princess Fifi seems to be channeling her Native roots...............Perhaps Pocahontas.

My water fairies melt my heart as they sing and dance on the rocks....
