Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Steel City aka The City of Bridges |
Today, Pittsburgh is hosting the Konami 5D's Yu-Gi-Oh North American World Championship Qualifiers Tournament. (www.hellopittsburgh.com)
My very own fanboy was beyond thrilled to be attending.
"Ohhhhhhh" |
North American's Finest Duelers |
My champion at registration |
I think this game is challenging and it definitely takes skill and memory to play.
But in the summer; most of Bam's friends (and himself) are on vacation to different parts of the world.
So being in Pittsburg and having an opportunity to play with other highly skilled players was a challenge worth taking.

My girls............watching ducks, boats and bridges |
This was the first time we've ever attended a large tournament like this one.
There were many things to do at the tournament...... if you weren't a dueler.
The world premiere of the Yu-Gi-Oh debuted in the theater area. (saw it....)
You could have your picture put on a Official Token card. (did it....)
There was a sibling and parent area next to the dueling area. (sat there....)
Plus there were many comic, card and snack food venders along the side the arena area as well. (yup....)
I especially like that this event was family friendly; boys from all ages from the little guys to mostly teens and adults participated.
I even saw a few female duelers.
And there were a lot of parental supporters and sibling fans to cheer.
We kept ourselves occupied very well while we waited for Bam.

One of many costumed fans--He must've spent forever on his hair!! |
Beautiful Sunset on the City of Bridges: Pittsburgh |
