After a long day we've reached St. Louis.....

The resort offers RV spaces, A.C. tents, cabins and cottages in the woods.
We opted for the two room cottage in the woods with porch and a fire pit.
(last one available for a family my size)
Fifi and I shared the master bedroom
Cookie and Sweetheart shared a bunk bed.
(they were thrilled--they've always wanted to sleep in a bunky bed)
Bam took over the futon in the living room.....we even had an outdoor BBQ pit plus a fully stocked kitchen!! (minus the groceries)
But we just hoped right on over to the local grocery store and stocked up for some home cookin'.

After dinner we took a dip in the pool.
There were plenty of families and children of all ages in the pool.
Bam was real popular at the pool.
I can't believe how many teen kids came to our cottage throughout the evening to see if Bam could hang out!!
Oh geez..........
Later we headed to the clubhouse for the featured entertainment of the night.......a live reptile show!
Steve, the reptile guy, brought his collection of snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions, and alligators.
He was informative and funny.
He claims to be featured in the upcoming Guinness World Records as a record breaker. He holds the title of keeping a deadly black scorpion in his mouth for over 17 minutes shattering the previous record held by a Thai woman who kept it in her mouth for 2 mins.
Hmmm....
This is definitely a place we'd come again and again.......
