cat patrol

While I was waiting for Sweetheart and Cookie after school, I noticed I wasn't the only one waiting for them.
Mr. Moxie (our cat) was waiting for them along the wall in his silly turkey stance.
I can imagine Mr. Moxie was remembering the fun he has with Sweetheart and Cookie.

He was delighted when he saw the girls approaching the house.
He jumped off the ledge and greeted them by turning circles around their legs.
He was joyful to have their attention and admiration.
What a smart cat.........

I SEE my two little friends,
Sweetheart and Cookie coming home--meow......

biker dog

While on our way to take Bam and Fifi to a teen youth ministries field trip to mini golf.
We saw something surprisingly sweet and funny: a man and dog on a motorcycle.
The dog even has his very own custom raised seating.

I've heard people say, "God is my co-pilot" but I think this guys says, "Dog is my co-pilot".
My children couldn't stop laughing at the sweet sight of the hound dogs ears billowing on the ride.
They think the dog is super cool on the motorcycle!

grilled pterodactyl

The warm New Mexico Sun is calling us........
We've decided to pull out the grill and dine alfresco.
For lunch, we slow cooked turkey legs and prepared a wonderful caesar salad, edamame, fresh grilled peaches and delicious sun tea.
"Are you sure this wasn't from a pterodactyl"

Two thumbs up for "grilled pterodactyl"

Sir Kyle wants to know if he can bury the bone in the backyard.......
We're enjoying the warm weather and each other

cat watching

The homework is done.
The laundry is drying
The dinner is cooking
Time to take a moment to breathe.

We're sitting on our porch watching the cat.................or is the cat watching us???
"What ever it is, I didn't do it."

a mile for a smile

Bam and his dog take a short moment for themselves before starting on homework.
Sir Kyle, the bichon frise, favorite place to nap is on Bam's shoulders.
Our little bichon is a great dog and he has a perfect match with Bam's personality.
Sir Kyle always looks forward to having fun, running and playing with Bam.
Sir Kyle will sit there at the window all day long waiting for Bam to return home from school and practice.
If I try to play with him he just doesn't have the motivation.
But when Bam comes home; Sir Kyle is excited, wagging his tail, smiling, following Bam everywhere, and doing tricks for him at every turn.
Bam and his dog relax for a moment after running the mile: "Smile, Mom"
