Amazed--- we're...ON TIME

Proud of ourselves for getting out of the house; I do believe we're running early :-)

We arrived at the soccer park----we thought we must be really early because no one was there.

NOBODY....

We became concerned.... I text Coach Tori.

Her text reply was:"No practice today, its Father's Day"

I guess you can't win them all...

A+ and beyond

This week is final exam week

A week that is typically full of studying, studying and even more studying.

But Fifi brought home an unbelievable accolade.....she's been formally excused from taking her final exam!!

My first reaction......."What??!!"

Fifi is absolutely ecstatic over this honor......and I'm over the moon for my wonder child.

CONGRATULATION!

You have been excused from the final exam

You have worked hard all semester

and you deserve a break! 

Keep up the hard work!

While the kiddos were at school my Mama (aka Nana) and I agreed to get out of the house for a while..... We went to a few vintage and resell shops around town then lunched at
Mary and Titos Mexican Restaurant in the North Valley.
It was a great time-- just me and her.....Mother / Daughter. We

Smiling from ear to ear--
Recalling funny family stories
Talked about the cute things the kids did. Then I just
Listening to the best advice from my Mommy.....

lava-ly dinosaurs....

SPRING BREAK THURSDAY

Take a walk with us today through the Triassic period, the Jurassic period, then onto the Cretaceous period.
Perfect day to examine and study the dinosaur bones, atmospheric exhibits, fossils, and minerals.
You guessed right, if you think we're at the museum.
(a.k.a: the dinosaur museum)

Don't worry Stan won't attack you............ he's got no guts! hahahaha......

This is Stan the T-rex at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science as he greets us upon entering.

Volcano, lava and steam.......…Oh my!!

Cookie and Sweetheart being careful to NOT step on the lava in the volcano exhibit.
Since they were little tiny tikes they used to be afraid of walking in the lava room.

 Will they're not frightened anymore.
Let's just say they still refuse to step on the replica lava floor......

snowed in?

The big storm that went over our area has left SNOW at our house!

I know, I know, it barely covers the pine needles.

Can you believe that SCHOOL IS CANCELLED today.

Most areas of the city got a significant amount of snow.

We just live in the area of town that got the least amount of SNOW.

*sigh*

A snow day means we have the day off.

Maybe we should get some.......................... ICE CREAM!!
