it was a great season....

Can you believe we've gone through an entire season of track and field with Princess Fifi.

She had an excellent time participating and getting some cardio as well.

We've reached the final track meet today....

Can you see Fifi and her "personal trainer" (Bam) on the field??
Can you see Cookie and Sweetheart on the sideline too?

Fifi's event is the 800 meter dash....she is an excellent runner.

I'm so proud of my Princess.... everyone is proud of her... Bam has enjoyed being her "personal trainer"....plus Sweetheart and Cookie love cheering her on.

Coming out to the stadium has become a real treat----from Bam being on the football team to Fifi competing at track.

I'm proud of my little athlete (and academic) achiever.

*applause*

Yay!!

Sweetheart and Cookie
up on the top seating for a birds eye view

This is what they see.... can you see our van?
(hint: far far left)
Amazing view of the petroglyph volcanos too....

Princess Fifi and Bam reflecting the season....

Moments like this melt my heart....

Good bye stadium........... we'll see you later

I have a secret.......

Another day of after school karate practice for Sweetheart and Cookie.

They're showing tons of excitement and enthusiasm for the karate program.

Cookie is my little karate kid in training

Sweetheart is my other karate kid in training

Beware of my girls; they may be CUTE but they have a secret.

"My Secret is KARATE!!"

play date with the pros......

Sweetheart's fun filled day!
Sweetheart is on a field trip to the Coleman Tennis Tournament at the Tanoan Country Club where today is 'kids are everywhere' day. Every year Tanoan Country Club hosts the professional women's tennis tournament. As part of the event, schools are invited to attend. Sweethearts class is one of the few who were able to attend today.
They learned some basic tennis lessons.
They got to play a tennis game.
Then they watched a tennis match between the tennis pros.

What an inspiring, fun and exciting field trip to be on. The school bus took them to Tanoan Country Club with the children wearing their most comfortable clothes and shoes while toting water bottles, backpack, sack lunch and tennis rackets. What a sight to see them out of the classroom with sunblock slathered across their little faces.

cha cha jump roping

Cookie is on the jumprope team.

Today is their first public performance outside there school.

It was a short 30 minute drive to Peralta, NM, to the local elementary school for the performance.

Can you spot my tiny Cookie among the tall 5th graders jumpers??

The jumprope team was invited to perform at Peralta elementary schools parent night open house assembly.
The song below is one of the songs they jumprope dance to.......

DJ Casper - Cha Cha Slide

We have an excellent jump rope team this year, lead by Coach Ciccarillo and Coach Jarvis.

Cookie is an excellent speed, trick and team jumper.
They leave my photos blurred from all the quick action...........

The team performed for a full house tonight.

They were spot on with the music and performance.

They're a wonderful group of advanced show style jump ropers.

Photos just do not do justice for the skill level they perform.

I'll consider vlogging it for the next performance.

I'm so proud of my littlest athlete, performer and academic achiever.

practice time

DAILY FOOTBALL PRACTICE

Today was good. Today was fun. Tomorrow is another one.

This wheeled container is pretty nifty otherwise known as "the waterboy" it's a mobile water cooler.

This tree is where I manage schedules, activities, play dates, edit blogs and return phone calls, while waiting for football practice to end.

I only wish it was a wifi hotspot.........
