Cookie and Sweetheart are starting their first day of karate lessons today.

The school is offering lessons after school with all profits completely benefitting their school's PE department.
They're in an introductory class, that'll meet for two weeks every other day, right after school.
The first class seems promising as the girls are very happy with their instructor and their first lesson.
They've also come home with "karate homework".
They're told that aside from learning the art of karate, they must also have respect for their life.
Respect in all aspects of their life; home, school, teachers, grandparents, siblings, mom, their home, their belongs, their bedroom and people they meet everyday.
They are required to use their very best manner at all times.
Plus they must write down what they've done that was respectful and I must sign it attesting it as fact.
Great idea!
They teach that karate isn't just of the body but of the mind too.

I'm pretty sure I have found Sweetheart and Cookie. They both look alert and attentive in their first session of Karate. I sure would have liked to have taken Karate when I was younger. Consider yourselves very fortunate. I'm going to expect to see some of your Karate moves. Wax on wax off. Left side, right side. You know what I'm talking about. Have Fun!!!
