Our newest family friend, Ms. Ester and Elleana, asked us to join them for lunch today. Ms. Ester suggested the Sunset Cove in the Washington Irving Boat and Yacht Club located just under the Tappan Zee Bridge in Tarrytown, NY. (www.tappanzeemarina.com) (www.sunsetcove.net) 

We dined alfresco while watching the yachts and boats go in and out the marina.

 The children were thrilled watching the ducks, seagulls, geese, and other aquatic critters on the rocks nearby.

Afterward Ms. Ester suggested the Greenburgh swimming pool for some impressive pool time. (www.greenburghny.com) The Greenburgh members only swimming complex was very big, offering several large pools, lap pools, wading pools, kiddie pools, spray grounds and water park.

The children all enjoyed the extra pool time. Fifi and Sweetheart enjoyed swimming and sunbathing,

Tennis anyone??

Cookie and Elleana were like old friends playing, swimming and laughing. Bam enjoyed swimming alone but soon some girls his age starting coming up to chat with him. Bam is good at making friends but lately girls have been approaching him........... like sharks!
My kids are growing up soooo fast....... but I'm still keeping an eye out.

Today we met some new friends.....Ms. Ester and her daughter Elleana.
They're a kind family from the neighborhood.

Ms. Ester (the mom) was super informative of the area and things for families to do.
Elleana is Cookie's age and the perfect playmate and friend.......

Ester invited us over for cool down, pool time swimming at her house.

Any time is always a good time for pool time........

They would've joined us but they had previous plans for a Broadway show they had tickets to.
But they didn't mind giving us full access to their pool.

Isn't that just sweet of them???

The temperature today was perfect and there was plenty of sun to soak up too.....

Later..... Ms. Jean stopped by Grandma-Great's house. I haven't seen Ms. Jean is years! She is looking great and is still absolutely the sweetest person on this planet. I enjoyed our visit and the girls loved singing and reciting poetry to her......

After Ms. Jean left Ms. Jill came over before she left for Switzerland. She brought over her fiance Mr. Fred and three of their kittens.
