amity and harmony

I'm reflecting on early yesterday mornings' social justice assembly we attended.
Bam and his Confirmation team each presented their social justice projects they've been working on for well over a year.

What is social justice?
From a simple point of view, social justice is equivalent to social fairness.
It's a phrase that refers to giving what is rightly due to an individual or group, team or community.
Social justice is about equality and fairness between human beings.
It works on the universal principles that guide people in knowing what is right and what is wrong.
This is also about keeping a balance between groups of people in a society or a community.
A fair perception about race, age, gender, culture, laws, traditions, beliefs is considered a good balance.
Social justice happens when a person or group of persons do not harbor prejudices that are detrimental to peaceful and productive relationships among individuals or groups.

For over a year, the Confirmation candidates each committed time, effort, understanding and awareness towards a social justice group, individual or organization.
They separately created an understanding for social equality and humanity through hands on assistance and learning.
Princess Fifi, Sweetheart, Cookie and I peeked at the room full of displays and science boards. We were astonished at many of the remarkable accomplishments they've achieved in a year.
Most importantly, Bam and many of the Confirmation candidates want to willingly continue working on their social justice projects indefinitely.
They've become aware of a global solution towards peace and humanity
That it takes compassion, science, and society to become a role model and a good citizen.
It also requires benevolence, kindness, empathy and sympathy for a community.

They're making our world a better place to live in.......
Have you done your part to balance society within your community???
