parish family fun

We had a full day of activities, volunteering and fun today.........

After an early morning football scrimmage; we had to get to the church so Bam could help set up canopies for the parish picnic held in the evening.

Our Parish holds their annual parish picnic this time of the year. 

What a great time, with fellowship, loads of food and many family fun activities like......

Twist, twist twist.................that sound makes me cringe

And of course themed baskets for the annual raffle (which we've yet to win.....)

Fresh squeezed lemonade from Hot Dog on a Stick.
Their uniforms give us a chuckle.......

Hotdogs, bratwurst, coleslaw, potato salad, and tons and tons of home made dessert items.
While we ate, various performers and performances were on stage for our entertainment.

Plus did I mention the dessert???

The night ended with a youth dance in the gathering hall.

Laughter, giggles, chuckles and fun was had by all throughout the day..............
